Give Yourself Credit for Being Brave

But what I really want to know is…ARE YOU BRAVE?

Too often, we don’t give ourselves credit for our bravery. We dismiss the choices we make or the actions we take as just what we should do.

But often, it’s not the case.

Often you are making brave decisions. Doing brave things. Overcoming your fears. Trying new things.

Yes, you might be making mistakes. And sometimes, your decisions may not work out exactly as you planned.

But you’re still brave.

Choices That Are Brave

I’ve made lots of choices in my life, that at the time, I didn’t consider brave. They were choices I just knew I needed to make.

From choosing a career as a trader to trying in vitro fertilization to having my beautiful children to taking on a leadership role to becoming a leadership and confidence coach – these are all choices I made.

And yes, now that I reflect on them – they were brave.

.

Risks & Self Doubt

These choices came with lots of risks.

They came with heartbreak and heartache.

I suffered self-doubt.

But I also experienced success.

I felt pride.

I beamed with happiness.

And that made it sooooo worth it to take that chance to be brave.

Reflect

This week I want you to reflect on the times that you were brave – and think about all that being brave has given you.
